The Baltimore Ravens, who this week lost a former Giant to a season-ending injury,, turned to another former Giant to replace him.
A day after cornerback Aaron Ross ruptured his Achilles, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reported that the Ravens signed former Giants safety Will Hill, the super talented but troubled New Jersey native who must still serve this third league-imposed suspension—this one for six games—regardless of the change in zip code.
Hill’s contract was terminated y the Giants who no longer felt that they could depend on him to follow rules and be available to the team. He finished his brief, but turbulent Giants career with 115 tackles, four forced tackles and two interceptions.
Hill won’t be the only Ravens player needing to serve a suspension. The NFL announced it has suspended running back Ray Rice for two games as a result of an offseason domestic assault incident at an Atlantic City casino.
