If a picture is worth a thousand words, then the latest image taken of running back David Wilson’s next must be priceless to the third-year player.
Wilson, who had not been in a game since Oct. 6 after being diagnosed with what was believed to have bene a career-threatening neck injury, had surgery in January to address the issue.
Today, after meeting with doctors and undergoing tests, the Giant’s 2012 first-round draft pick tweeted that he finally received the medical clearance he so strongly wanted to do “everything.”
Wilson, who will run in the team’s conditioning drills later on Monday, will probably be eased back into the lineup and not thrown in headfirst. It’s unclear just how he’ll initially be able to contribute, though it’s unlikely he’ll be used as the team’s kickoff returner despite the success he had there as a rookie.
Stay tuned for more later today, including quotes on the; latest stories developing from Giants camp.
