Giants Sign Offensive Lineman Charles Brown and Defensive End Robert Ayers

The Giants busy offseason continued on Tuesday with the team increasing the number of free agents signed from other teams to 13.

Offensive lineman Charles Brown, previously with the new Orleans Saints, became the fourth offensive lineman to be added in free agency, joining guard/tackle Geoff Schwartz (Kansas City), center J.D. Walton (Denver/Washington) and guard/tackle John Jerry (Miami).  Brown signed on Tuesday.

Giants Agree to Terms with Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie

A day after inking cornerback Walter Thurmond to presumably play the slot cornerback , the New York Giants have added former Broncos cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to the fold.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Rodgers-Cromartie’s new deal is for five years and $39 million with $15 million guaranteed.

Rodgers-Cromartie, who also met with the Jets over the weekend, is expected to move into the starting lineup opposite of Prince Amukamara.
