Report: Giants Sign French Receiver D’Anthony Dable’

With free-agent receiver Rueben Randle’s return and with rehabbing receiver Victor Cruz’s quest to be a productive receiver all up in the air, the New York Giants have begun adding prospects in hopes of finding someone to complement star receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

Giants Sign Jay Bromley, Terrell Manning to Contracts

The Giants signed defensive tackle Jay Bromley, their third-round draft pick and last of their 2014 rookie class, to what’s believed to be a four-year deal.

Bromley, 6-4 and 307 pounds, was the 74th overall selection in the NFL Draft held last month. He played in 50 games at Syracuse University, where he was credited with 121 tackles (71 solo), 25.5 tackles for losses and 13 sacks, including 10 in 2013, when he was a senior captain for the Orange.

In addition, New York signed free agent linebacker Terrell Manning (6-2 and 237 pounds), a three-year veteran who has played in six regular-season games (five with Green Bay in 2012 and one with San Diego last year) and in two postseason games for the Packers in 2012.

Manning, who played his college ball at North Carolina State, is a former fifth-round draft pick of the Packers in 2012. He will provide depth at linebacker while Jon Beason is sidelined for at least three months with a broken foot.

Cornerback Jayron Hosley Suspended by NFL for Four Games

When it rains, it pours for the New York Giants’ defensive secondary.

The Giants announced that cornerback Jayron Hosley, the team’s third-round draft pick in 2012, will serve a four-game suspension at the start of the2014 season after violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.
