@Patricia_Traina maybe not a question for your mailbag but I’d love to hear you’re favorite J. Tuck story. #30?30days

Ah, I love this question! Thanks so much for the nice change of pace!
Back in the old stadium when Tuck was a younger player, I was chatting with a teammate who had a locker near him—I can’t remember who it was. Anyway, we were talking about how we felt physically when Tuck suddenly chimed in and said he felt like he was 52 years old, this after a game.
I’m not sure why, but every time I saw Tuck after that, instead of asking him how he was, I’d say, “So Justin, how old do you feel today?” He’d always give me a number—some days it was a low number and some days a high one.
It was just a little friendly back-and-forth we had and that little exchange ultimately led to me getting a sit-down with Justin about his R.U.S.H. for Literacy Campaign, which he had just launched.
He gave me a wonderful interview and from those days onward, I always enjoyed a friendly working relationship with Justin, who often provided some awesome one-liners I’d use in my weekly game previews.
And I’ll confess—I was hoping he’d return after two years with the Raiders to finish his career as a Giant. That would have been sweet.
