Giants Scheduled to Play 5 Prime-time Games in 2014

The Giants are scheduled to play in a maximum of five prime-time games, including the season opener on Sept. 8 which will be at Detroit on Monday night, and then another Monday night game, this one at home against the Colts on Nov. 3.

New York’s schedule, which was leaked by WFAN 660 on Wednesday afternoon, also has the Giants scheduled to play in two Sunday night games, on Oct., 12 at the Eagles and Nov. 23 vs. Dallas.

Their fifth and final scheduled primetime game will be on Thursday night. On Sept. 25 when they visit Washington.

The Giants’ bye week will be in Week 8, following two consecutive road games, the Oct. 12 primetime matchup at the Eagles, and the Oct. 19 game at Dallas.

The Giants will close their season with four of their last eight on the road, a slate that includes a road game at Seattle on Nov. 9 and a home game the following week against the 49ers on Nov. 16. The giants will close out their 2014 regular season schedule on Dec. 28 at home against the Eagles.
